It is fully charged, has the latest firmware and I have tried to reset it. Although I cannot view anything it appears to "work" because it beeps when I touch some areas of the screen.

You might try a full factory reset, but you'll lose all your favorites. Cut and paste from garmin.com support...

Note: A master reset will erase all waypoints or favorites and will restore your unit to the default factory settings.

GARMIN NUVI 360 is the most compact and elegant all-in-one GPS navigation units on the market. The machine is user friendly, the technical challenges of my 85 year-old grandfather absolutely love it. Voice prompts are loud and clear, to give you enough time to prepare for upcoming turns and other traffic incidents.

Although it is most closely comparable competitor Tom Tom 910, is really not comparable.Display excellent quality and sufficient conditions for a bright day, although the NUVI 360 automatic translation is not very good, POI access is better than Tom Tom, you can navigate with more confidence than the Tom Tom, which often require cumbersome external steps.

Despite its advantages over other units, GARMIN NUVI 360 also has some limitations. It is designed for simple point-to-point GPS navigation and does not support changing the course selected by the unit.The nüvi 360 is basically offers two route options, the shortest (distance) and fastest (time).
