Accessing uploaded routes in a garmin GPS?

I've created routes both in MapSource and from MapQuest (online) and successfully sent them to my GPS (NUVI 1350). The problem is, I can't seem to find them/access them/make them show up on the GPS. I'm sure they are in there somewhere since they "successfully"

On the Zumo it is pretty basic. After uploading, select 'where to' next choose 'Routes' and there they should appear.

Which Garmin is better and which one should I get?

My birthday was yesterday and I got 2 Garmin nuvi's. the 255 and the 1350. The only difference is that the 1350 has lane assist and the 255 does not. I am 17 years old and don't know if I will actually use the lane assist. I don't know which one I should

In the long term, especially with going to college the 1350 may prove useful, I'd go for that one.
