I'm trying to figure out how exactly the Garmin NUVI 260's SD card slot works. Does the Unit come with software to use?

I'm also wondering how many programmable favorites the Unit has.

The SD slot is for storing maps, photos, or music. You just slip the SD card in there. It is assigned a drive letter just like the GPS receiver's main memory when you connect it to the PC. The unit does not come with any software. You don't really
