I am wondering if the Garmin Nuvi 880 is the same thing as the 855 from Costco? Any GPS recs

Did you mean 855 or 855t.If you mean 855,it does not have bluetooth while 880 and 855t have bluetooth and 855t included Europe map.
880 have some new features Voice Recognition,Photo Navigation lets you upload geo-coded photos from a phone, geo-coding

Yeah, any garmin is good. They are all good quality. I have one of the older versions and they are spectacular. Even if you didnt get the nuvi 880, then i think that you would be satisfied with any of the garmin products.
