I was wondering if the Nuvi 200 was as detaled in attractions as the higher end models.... also, would the Fodor Map Pack (https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=8471) help, or not even matter anymore with the 2009 map packs....

I can't find a definitive answer, but this is a really weird comparison. These two units are at the complete opposite ends of the nuvi line. The 200 is the cheapest entry-level nuvi while the 5000 is the most expensive top-of-the-line nuvi. I would

i am interested in buying a g.p.s.i recently looked at a garmin nuvi 5000 and it seemed to fit my needs.has anyone heard about the pros and cons about this unit and how doe's it compete with a tomtom in the same price catagory.i like the 5.2 wide screen

I have the Garmin, it does pretty well. The suction cup sure blows though.
