I'm thinking of getting a GPS that I can use while on my motorcycle, but doesn't cost and arm and a leg. The nuvi 275t has text-to-speech directions, and you can make calls on bluetooth, but i'm wondering if I can use bluetooth headset to hear the directions

The manual makes it look like the bluetooth is only there for phone calls. You can take a look for yourself if you want.

You may want to check out the Nuvi 500 and 550. Garmin claims them to be "rugged and waterproof".

I bought a Garmin nuvi 275t GPS which includes maps of USA and Europe. I'm looking at the Garmin site and wondering what the difference is between the Navigator maps (e.g. North America...) and the city maps (e.g. CityXplorer, Bay Area) and the water
