Any other recommendations for a good auto GPS. The ratings I've read say Garmin is the best. Thanks.

Garmin is by far the best and sometimes most expensive. Any other brand will do though. I do have a Garmin but the one I have has problems picking up satellite reception sometimes. Look on amazon or newegg.com and read the reviews on the ones you are

What are the differences in the two in features and what they come with? Is one a better buy than the other? I am mainly looking for a simple, reliable gps with text-to-speech. It would be nice if it came with a charger, case, and mount. I'm sure a screen

In addition to the features found in the nuvi 250, the nuvi 260 will provide turn by turn directions with spoken street names. The text to speech feature prompts you to Turn right on Main St instead of Turn right in 500 feet.
