I just got the Garmin nuvi 260 for Christmas and the girls voice bugs me. Are there other voices that can be download to use on the Garmin?

Unfortunately you can't download voices for the Garmin GPS units, I've been looking for a couple of years now. The TomTom allows you to download all kind of voices but with Garmin your stuck with the voices that are loaded on it, but you can change to

I heard you can get out of speeding tickets by showing that your GPS navigation system showed you were going a slower speed than a cop clocked you at. Does the Garmin Nuvi 260 have this feature?

It does show you you're speed but unfotunatly it doesent record it so you would'nt be able to show the cop your speed. there are some tracking devices that record speed what you would have to do is fight the ticket you could use the info off of your tracking

July 26 – Theft

Kelly Fishill, 43, reported that two vehicles parked in the driveway of her home were ransacked. About $2 in change was taken from the glove compartment. A gas card was also taken from the car, but the password to use the card was left behind.

The second car was found with its glove compartment and center console open, but nothing was taken.

Lee Belfer, 59, reported two rings were stolen from his house. A key needed to open the drawer where the rings were kept was broken into, according to the report. Lee and his wife, Frani, think one of the cleaning ladies from “House Cleaning Service” took the rings. According to the Belfer's, there had been many repair persons at their house such as a plumber, electrician and exterminator. But the couple does not believe any of them stole the jewelry since they have done work on their house for years. Police have put in calls to the cleaning service, but have not heard back as of yet.

What is the function of the differences in the two and they come up with? Is a better buy than others do? I am mainly looking for a simple, reliable GPS Text to Speech.
