I got a Garmin nuvi 650 for Christmas and it is great but the battery died on it and I am trying to recharge it from the USB cable. It doesn't have a battery indicator light and I don't know when it is fully charged. Can I damage the battery by not

We have the Nuvi 650. Check it about a little over an hour of charging by turning the unit on and seeing how much the battery indicator is up. If it is not full then keep trying. Check it every so often, ours usually doesnt take that long, we charge it

Just like the title says, is there any way to get free map updates for the Garmin Nuvi 650? The only way I can at the moment is pay what i feel is a load of money.

Any ideas are welcomed...

Garmin Nuvi 650 or TomTom GO 910 or TomTom One XL?

Hi I am looking to buy one of the units above - could you let me know your experiences or opinions on these devices please? I can not make a decision with all units around! Please take into Western Europe, where the models I have chosen. Thank you for answer: o)

TomTom go with either 710 or XL Europe. To facilitate using TomTom is the best. Even the representative of Garmin couln't put a strong case for why buying Garmin against TomTom. WG
