I've been running a lot while training for a marathon, and run a lot in general, I think one of those watches might be useful. I assume it uses GPS to track distance and speed? Are some of the advanced features of the higher end (and more expensive)
I got the 305 for Christmas, its pretty awesome it tracks speed,time,heart rate and zone, pace and when you hook it with your computer you can see where you ran through google maps, plus you get a chart with all those stats.

This is from a training point of view has been an interesting week. I looked at the children from Wednesday, so I really can not be run every day in those days, except Thursday night.
This past Monday is my 15 mile run, 05 am, when I woke up, we have a good electrical storm lasted about half an hour. Only the end of this day get 8 miles. Tuesday and Wednesday are the same - storm rolling around dawn run in those days as well.
This week is a good week for the "first", though - running since Thursday night the first night since last winter, this is a good change, breaking the monotony of my morning routine and run after missing a week two and Wednesday. In addition, it is a great run, only to, and movement.
My other "first" this week - the first 17 miles of my run this morning. I was ready to knock out and launch. I think this pushed me to start faster, according to per mile than I thought I never really adjusted down, I need to pace.Thus, by 15 miles, I was drained, so I went down the drain time, I really struggled to complete the final few laps. However, I did not feel awesome, you can say I've run 17 miles - my new personal distance record....
