I have decided that I'd like to take running a little more seriously and I noticed a lot of the "real" runners use Garmin watches..what are they used for?
All Garmins (other than the Forerunner 50) incorporate GPS (global positioning).
This allows them to track your running as accurately as possible, and far more accurately than something like a pedometer or the Nike Plus system.

...
19.08.11
Garmin has launched a new teaser campaign via email and Facebook, and because it's a slow news day, our crack team of marketing specialists has decided to take some guesses at what all the fuss is about.
So far, it appears that Garmin's campaign has two components: an email containing an image that reads, " Reimagined. Redesigned. Ready to move you. 08.24.2011 ", and a video that the company has posted only to its Facebook page. Unfortunately, the folks at Garmin don't seem to understand that Facebook videos can't be shared outside of Facebook, and the company hasn't yet bothered to upload the clip to any of its half-dozen YouTube pages, so if you want to watch it, you'll have to click through .

Firstly I can no longer wear size 18 trousers. They are just too big. So most definitely a 16 now and looking forward to my first size 14’s fitting.
I threw 10 bra’s away yesterday because they are way too big. I am now a 36DD and still shrinking.
I am also too small for a number of my T-shirts which is a bit sad really as there are some I really like. I need to have a good clearout of my wardrobe. I have clothes of all sizes in there and I have found a number of pairs of black trousers for work that now fit. Which is useful.
The nice thing is knowing that I won’t need those clothes again. As I am not on a diet the weight loss is permanent.
