I am training for a 1/2 marathon. I am running 4-6 miles a day, now. I need to do tempo runs, and fartleks. I KNOW I need a pace watch, but I don't know if I need to spend the extra money on the HR monitor.

I'm 17 too and have one....and it was the best Christmas gift I got. I used it to run my 20k and it was a breeze. The battery life is supposed to be about 10 hours, but give or take. It will say when the battery is low, but I charge mine after about 3

I will get my weeks of training and expeditious manner to get my 15 miles on Sunday, salted 50 miles per week, I am very happy. 15 miles is very difficult in itself, can feel my legs for a whole week. Out drinking on Friday and Saturday may not help matters, but I only see my body when training a slight dehydration, some form of conditioning, I think ;-) Monday is my day off work. " kicked off "Tuesday, I can not run. Nothing at work, you should run, not a happy guy, I can tell you worse. So, last night was the first time I run a week.In the 7:19 minute / mile pace to get too familiar with now, at 10 miles, a three-day limit, which is really fast. 'm Sure I will pay tonight. Do my old 10-mile street course football tonight, but at the last minute to change it. I do a short 4.7 miles, about 31 minutes, pretty quick one....
Hi.I have the Garmin 305 Forerunner watch.I cannot run or walk without it. My dads friend had one and asked me if I wanted to use it while we were on vacation. At first time I declined. Then she asked me again 2nd vacation if I wanted to use it so I did. It was a little bulky, but then I said I wanted one for x-mas. Then I got it! It’s a pretty awesome device. I just love on it tracks my miles and calories.
