Follow your heart: how to set up your heart rate monitor for use with Forerunner 405. More information available at: www.garmin.com

I want to use it for counting calories burned during jumping rope and Wii Fit.
The 305's digitally coded heart-rate monitor--which is worn as a chest strap--sends heart-rate data to the device so you can see whether you're training too hard or not hard enough. Alerts for pace, distance, time, and heart rate are also available. Additionally,
Has to have GPS which guides you back to starting position. I think some other Garmins do this but they are too big and would like other suggestions that have this feature. Preferably they are not too pricey (under £100 - not likely). Thx for any replies
For the price, you can't really beat the Garmin Forerunner 305. If you are willing to spend a bit more, for a less bulky but virtually identical heart rate monitor, go for the Forerunner 405. You can probably pick one up a bit cheaper on eBay.
When you think the key element of success is what do you think? Discipline, goal setting, pregmatism, etc.? I have been to avoid taking a good hard look at my run for some time, but in my own life has been denied me better. I am jealous of other people are beginning to hate my own run. Complete a marathon it? Not a "real achievement, because it is" too slow. "Attempt to one hundred miles it? Not a success, because I did not complete and I can not smile, when my husband hit a new 5K PR, I had my back running partners, each spoke of her sub 4:30 marathon or two and a half.I do not like the jealous and I do not support people who become so I was forced to look at themselves. All the people around me said: "If you just run more mileage, you will get faster." I replied, "If I was faster, I have time to run higher mileage!" People told me, "add speedwork, you will get faster." Once again, an excuse, "If I add speedwork, I hurt!...
