I want to buy a GPS watch to help me with my training programme. From what I've read, the Forerunner 305 is the best option (what with the 405 not working when wet!!). What are you thoughts?

I have had a Garmin Forerunner 305 for the past three years..... It is dependable plus the added heart rate monitor is a great function. Additionally, now that the 405's are the latest rendition, it is a lot less expensive. I think you will find that

Currently, I'm running on treadmill with my Foodpod along with Forerunner 305, and I was wondering if there was a website like Motionbased to track my indoor training. (Motionbased only can upload 'GPS' used trails.. :()

First I did not know there was a foot pod that went with the forerunner 305. but www.runnersworld.com has a free website to log data or do a search for running or training logs, there are lots of free sites where you can log your running data.
